Can I bring my kids — and will I actually get time for myself?

Yes — VWR is very family-friendly.

We offer dedicated children’s programming plus on-site childwatch daily from 6:30am–9:30pm.

👉 That means you can fully enjoy workouts, workshops, and downtime — while your kids are engaged and cared for.

It’s one of the reasons so many parents return each year.

What is included with my ticket?

Your ticket includes all plant-based meals and desserts, daily wellness sessions, expert speaker presentations, fitness classes, workshops, family programming, and access to the full retreat experience from June 14–18.

Are there individual shower stalls on-site for tent campers and RV attendees?

Yes. Individual private shower stalls are available on property for tent campers and RV guests.

Are there hotels close to the retreat venue?

Yes. There are several hotels within 5–10 minutes of the retreat venue as well as a strong selection of nearby Airbnbs.

What airport do you recommend flying into?

Most out-of-state guests fly into Traverse City Airport (TVC), approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the retreat venue. Grand Rapids and Detroit are also common alternatives.

Is this retreat suitable for beginners?

Yes. The retreat welcomes people at all stages of their plant-based or wellness journey. Whether you are new or experienced, the programming is designed to be supportive, educational, and inspiring.
