Our Volunteer Team
Our volunteer team plays a vital role in creating the heart, flow, and experience of the Vegan Wellness Retreat.
Volunteer roles for VWR 2026 filled very quickly after announcement.
If you are considering volunteering in 2027, we strongly recommend applying early.
We review applications in the order they are received and typically follow up with a phone call the same day.

Below is a brief overview of each role.
🍽 Kitchen Volunteer- Limited Spots Remaining
Assist in the kitchen and support meal preparation for guests.
Choose your preferred daily 4-hour shift:
• 6:30am–10:30am
• 10:30am–2:30pm
• 2:30pm–6:30pm
• 6:30pm–10:30pm
Volunteers enjoy all retreat activities outside of their shift.
Kitchen roles are consistently among our most requested positions.
🥤 Smoothie & Banana Ice Cream Bar
Assist with preparing smoothies and banana ice cream for guests.
Shift Options:
• 8:30am–12:30pm
• 12:30pm–4:30pm
• 4:30pm–8:30pm
These roles fill quickly.
Childwatch Volunteer
Support families by helping supervise children in Timber Wolf Lake’s dedicated childcare space.
Assist with activities and age-appropriate engagement.
Shift Options:
• 6:30am–11:30am
• 11:30am–4:30pm
• 4:30pm–9:30pm
Childwatch positions are limited due to space and ratio requirements.

Guest Check-In (scan tickets, assist guests to assigned rooms)

Clean Up & Breakdown
Volunteer Spots are first come, first serve and are limited.
Refund Policy
Volunteer tickets are fully refundable (minus processing fees) up to 90 days before the retreat.
