From what's included to travel, food, accommodations, and refunds — here's the full rundown. Still stuck? Call or text us at (231) 409-0002.

No. While VWR respects all religious backgrounds, VWR is not associated with any religion and does not practice any religion at any VWR retreat.

If you want to improve your health, connect with like-minded people, and experience something energizing and fun — yes. Guests come from all backgrounds, whether you're fully plant-based, just getting started, or somewhere in between. You'll feel right at home.

The retreat is active, social, and community-driven, with a mix of fitness, education, relaxation, and fun. You can participate in as much or as little as you want.

Yes — and many people do. It's one of the easiest places to meet people quickly and form real connections. Between shared meals, activities, and evening socials, solo guests rarely stay solo for long.

Both 2027 retreats expect 500+ guests, spread across hundreds of private acres (3,000 in Texas, 900 in Michigan). It's designed to feel high-energy, not crowded.

Between the great halls, outdoor spaces, waterfront, and activities running throughout the day, guests naturally spread out. You'll always be able to find space to relax — or jump into the energy when you want to.

Absolutely. VWR is truly multigenerational — guests range from young children to adults in their 80s and beyond. There are activities for all ages, youth tickets, free admission for infants (0–2), and childcare available daily. The whole family can thrive.

No — VWR is an alcohol-free and smoke-free retreat. To keep the grounds healthy and welcoming for everyone, alcohol and smoking (including vaping) aren't permitted anywhere on the property.

Your ticket includes everything — no upsells, no hidden costs. Here's a snapshot:

  • All-inclusive oil-free, plant-based meals + desserts
  • The all-day Triple Bar (fresh juices, smoothies & banana nice cream)
  • Fitness classes, group workouts & dance fitness
  • Yoga, meditation & breathwork
  • Vegan Olympics + outdoor field games
  • Silent disco + evening social events
  • Workshops, lectures & expert talks
  • Live food demos, cooking classes & nutrition education
  • Waterfront access + activities (kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming)
  • Spa day + recovery experiences (including chair massages)
  • Sound baths, journaling, and guided connection experiences

Most retreats charge extra for many of these — at VWR, it's all included.

All meals are whole-food, plant-based, and oil-free — a mix of raw and cooked, from fresh juices, smoothies, and banana nice cream to hearty soups, beans, starches, and desserts.

And it's made by people who love it. Chef Mario Fabbri cooks for every guest, every day, with the team from Casa de Luz East alongside him — five unforgettable days of food. Our Fruit Hunter, Sal, rounds it out with a spread of exotic, perfectly-ripe fruit you won't find anywhere else.

Whether you're fully raw, WFPB, or somewhere in between, you'll be well fed.

Every meal is 100% plant-based, whole-food, and oil-free — so there's no meat, dairy, or eggs anywhere on the menu. If you have specific allergies (like gluten, soy, or nuts) or other dietary needs, email us at info@veganwellnessretreats.com ahead of the retreat and we'll do our best to make sure you're well taken care of.

Each day blends fitness, meals, workshops, adventure, and free time. You can be as active or relaxed as you want — from sunrise workouts and breathwork to afternoon lake activities to evening events like the silent disco. Nothing is mandatory; the whole experience is customizable to you.

No tents, ever. Every guest stays indoors in a real room with a real bed, right on the property — from shared bunks to private suites with their own bath. Fresh linens, bedding, and pillows are provided in every accommodation, so there's nothing to haul. Just bring your bag.

Accommodation options vary by venue, but generally include shared dorms, private rooms, family lodging, and premium suites. For the 2027 retreats, you choose your accommodation in the same checkout, right after picking your General Admission tickets.

Pack light and comfortable: workout and activewear, layers for cooler mornings and evenings, a swimsuit and towel for the waterfront, comfortable walking shoes, a reusable water bottle, and your usual toiletries. Bedding, linens, and pillows are provided, so there's no need to bring your own.

Pets aren't allowed on the property, unfortunately. Many of our guests are pet owners too — most arrange a dog or cat sitter, or book a local pet-boarding service near the venue for the week.

Step 1: Pick your retreat and your General Admission tickets.
Step 2: Choose your on-site lodging, add the optional airport shuttle, and enter your guests' details — all in the same secure checkout.

Every registration includes both a GA ticket and lodging. Monthly payment plans are available on both — just choose the monthly option at checkout.

Texas (Utopia / LoneHollow Ranch): Fly into San Antonio (SAT) — the ranch is about 90 minutes away.

Michigan (Lake City / Timber Wolf Lake): Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is closest, just over an hour away. Grand Rapids (GRR) and Detroit (DTW) offer more flight availability but are farther.

Yes — each retreat offers an optional round-trip bus that runs straight between the airport and the venue for $99/seat: San Antonio (SAT) ⇄ LoneHollow Ranch for Texas, and Cherry Capital (TVC) ⇄ Timber Wolf Lake for Michigan. It meets you at the airport and drops you right at the retreat — no rental car needed. Seats are limited; you can add one on the Texas or Michigan page. Prefer to come on your own? Many guests rent a car or coordinate carpools with other attendees, and Uber and Lyft are operational in both areas.
